Generally, temperature at Mungalli Falls is between 7-10 degrees cooler than that of Cairns. Mungalli Falls is approximately 800 metres above sea-level. The cool mountain water flows right alongside our Waterfall Cafe (which sits on top of the actual waterfall) which is approximately a 100 metre drop to the bottom and our now famous GLOW-WORMS location and waterfall viewing platform.

Our wettest months at Mungalli are generally February & March. The driest months are July & August. These are also the coolest months where temperatures at night may get as low as 4 or 5 degrees. Generally, in winter months, the day temperatures still climb to mid 20�s, and in summer, to high 20�s and early 30�s. However, a major contributing factor for keeping the climate cooler in the summer months is the lack of humidity, in comparison with Cairns.

If for reasons due to the weather, our valued clients are not able to participate in any pre-booked activity, full-refunds will of course be remitted on the particular activity.
